As the Fashion Features Editor at Vogue, your primary responsibility will be to produce, commission, and edit fashion news and features for both the print edition and digital platforms. Reporting to the Head of Editorial Content, you will lead a team of writers and contributors, playing a crucial role in shaping the brand's tone and voice. Your experience and industry connections will make you a key player within the team. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with editorial leaders to generate, commission, and edit fashion content for all Vogue platforms. - Create engaging fashion features and news articles for print and digital distribution. - Work closely with international colleagues to identify global story opportunities and contribute to the network. - Represent Vogue at industry events and regional fashion shows. - Contribute to social, digital, and video strategies, including talent acquisition and project ideation. - Build commercial relationships and support revenue-generating projects. - Establish and maintain strong relationships with brands and PRs to secure exclusives and stay current with industry trends. - Stay informed about industry developments to ensure unique and informed fashion coverage. - Contribute to social media and video content creation. Skills & Requirements: - 9+ years of experience in a senior fashion editorial role at a digital or print publisher. - Strong storytelling skills and a track record of identifying trends and engaging with audiences. - Proficiency in SEO and data analytics tools. - Experience in commerce content is a plus. - Extensive network of regional and international contacts. - Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments. - In-depth knowledge of the Vogue brand. - Established contacts book including PRs and contributors. - Experience in collaborating on revenue-generating projects. Background and Skills: - Experience in editorial and ecommerce is a significant advantage, even if gained separately. - Experience in fashion editorial (online or offline) is a must. - Ability to write headlines and short-form content on fashion with personality and character. - Ability to simplify complex topics for readers to understand and enjoy. - Understanding and experience with SEO is a bonus, although not mandatory.
