Fashion designing faculty

Job description:

A Fashion Design Faculty member's job is to teach and guide students in the principles and practical aspects of fashion design, including developing curriculum, leading lectures, supervising workshops, and providing critical feedback on student projects. They also mentor students, stay updated on industry trends, and may conduct research or participate in departmental activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Curriculum Development:Develop and deliver fashion design curriculum, including lectures, practical projects, and assessments. This may involve designing course modules, lesson plans, and practice papers.
• Student Mentorship and Guidance:Mentor students on academic and career paths, offering career advice and industry insights. This includes helping students develop portfolios, apparel designs, and fashion strategies, as well as preparing them for internships and industry placements.
• Industry Knowledge and Trend Awareness:Stay updated on current fashion trends, techniques, and technologies, and integrate relevant findings into teaching.
• Hands-on Supervision and Feedback:Supervise workshops, studios, and fashion shows, and provide critical feedback on student work.
• Research and Scholarship:Engage in scholarly research and contribute to the fields of fashion design and apparel design through publications, presentations, or exhibitions.
• Departmental and Institutional Service:Participate in departmental and institutional activities, such as organizing workshops and events, and contributing to the overall academic environment.
• Collaboration and Networking:Collaborate with other faculty members, industry professionals, and other academic institutions to create opportunities for student internships and placements, and to share research findings.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
