Fashion Designer

As a Fashion Designer at Iris Couture, you will be responsible for developing fresh and innovative designs that align with the brand's identity. Your tasks will include creating mood boards, sketches, and digital illustrations for each collection, as well as curating seasonal themes, fabric choices, and embellishment ideas. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with the production team, tailors, and artisans to bring designs to life. - Oversee sampling and make adjustments for fit, style, and finishing. - Prepare detailed technical sheets and specifications for each garment. - Conduct fit trials and ensure garments meet premium quality standards. - Check and approve embroidery, fabric finishes, and trims before production. - Stay updated on fashion trends and customer preferences. - Suggest fresh concepts, cuts, and detailing to keep collections unique. Qualifications Required: - Degree or diploma in Fashion Design. - 2+ years of experience in boutique, couture, or luxury fashion design. - Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric behavior, and embellishment techniques. - Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW. - Excellent eye for detail and ability to work under deadlines. In addition, the company prefers candidates with at least 1 year of experience in fashion design and proficiency in Hindi language. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Kozhikode, Kerala. Ability to commute or relocate to the work location is required. Diploma in fashion design is preferred.
