Fashion Designer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and innovative Fashion Designer who has a strong understanding of current fashion trends, fabrics, colors, patterns, and garment construction. The candidate should be able to design attractive collections, create mood boards, develop sketches, and collaborate with production teams to bring concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify latest fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and customer preferences.
• Design apparel, accessories, and seasonal collections as per market needs.
• Create sketches, mood boards, CAD designs, and technical sheets.
• Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials for designs.
• Collaborate with pattern makers & production team for sample development.
• Modify designs based on feedback, fitting sessions, and market demand.
• Maintain documentation of designs, samples, and production details.
• Ensure quality standards and timely delivery of finalized designs.
• Coordinate with marketing team for photoshoots, branding & product launches.
• Stay updated with industry trends, fashion shows, and competitor analysis.

Skills Required:

• Strong creativity and artistic skills.
• Good understanding of colors, silhouettes, and fabric draping.
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Photoshop, CLO 3D, or similar software.
• Ability to sketch by hand and create digital illustrations.
• Knowledge of garment construction & pattern making (added advantage).
• Strong communication & teamwork skills.
• Time management and attention to detail.

Education Qualification:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design / Textile Design / Apparel Design or related field.
• Certification in fashion software tools will be an added advantage.
