About Us:
Zayra is a growing Indian women’s wear brand known for elegant A-line kurtis, co-ord sets, festive wear, and daily essentials. We are expanding our design operations and are looking for a creative part-time Fashion Designer based in Bangalore to support our upcoming collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with designing new collections for kurtis, co-ord sets, festive wear & casual wear.
• Create sketches, tech packs, size charts, and detailing for sampling.
• Coordinate with the tailoring/manufacturing units in Bangalore for sampling and production.
• Source fabrics, laces, trims, and other raw materials when required.
• Work on mood boards, color palettes, prints, and seasonal trends.
• Ensure samples are developed accurately and align with the Zayra brand aesthetic.
• Support in fitting sessions and refining the final garment.

Requirements

• Qualification in Fashion Design
• Strong understanding of Indian women’s fashion—especially kurtis & ethnic wear.
• Ability to create neat sketches (hand-drawn or digital).
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of fabrics, cuts, and embellishments.
• Based in Bangalore and available for fieldwork (fabric sourcing, sample follow-up).
• 1–3 years experience preferred (freshers with strong creativity can also apply).

Working Hours & Pay

• Part-time, flexible hours.
• Pay will be discussed during the interview based on skills and experience.
