Fashion Designer (Footwear Designer)

As a part of the Phoenix initiative by Myntra, you will be joining a team that believes in empowering women returning to the workforce after a career break. Your primary responsibilities during the internship will include: - Assisting in various project tasks and assignments under supervision for footwear design across categories. - Trend presentation and trend spotting. - Creating Techpacks and technical sheets for designs. - Product review approval with the sourcing team. - Coordination with cross-functional teams. - Researching seasonal trends, colors, prints, fabrics, and styling. - Contributing to seasonal concepts development. - Creating sketches based on seasonal concepts and rendering the same with appropriate color/prints. - Maintaining line sheets for seasonal range plans. - Responsible for creating detailed tech packs that illustrate design and construction details with high accuracy. - Collaborating with Buying and Sourcing teams for effective design development. - Conducting fitting sessions in collaboration with the Tech team. - Fabric/print/surface design follow-up and approvals. - Executing timely on seasonal calendar deadlines. - Contributing well-researched ideas to support catalog and marketing for the brand. Qualifications & Experience required: - 4-6 years of experience and Grad/Post-grad from NIFT/FMS. - Demonstrates high-level aesthetics and creative ability with a strong understanding of youth culture. - Well-rounded experience in Fashion design. - Should have a minimum of 6 months of career gap at present.
