Job Description

Purpose of the Job

The Principle Designer shall be responsible for end to end design of the Indian womens ethnic wear portfolio of a section of BIBAs collection.

Key Result Areas for the Incumbent

Process Responsibilities

Maintain and build design team workflows that ensure that all designs in the portfolio are delivered are in line with style guides, BIBAs design language and BIBA quality standards
Maintain and track departmental fashion calendar for the season
Research and forecast evolving fashion trends and bring those insights in the design of the portfolio
Monitor the competition and be aware of market changes and development
Perform daily organizational and maintenance tasks like Styling the range, Embroidery development and getting the sample made as directed
