Family Practitioner/General Practitioner

We are seeking FP-Anesthetists to join the Anesthesiology Team at Ksyen Regional Hospital in Terrace. The hospital, which opened its doors in November 2024, offers a range of surgical services including General, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmic, and Plastics, as well as visiting ENT, Urology, and Dental services. With 42 Acute Care Beds, a 20-bed Psychiatry unit, 4 surgical suites (including a dedicated Orthopedics OR), 6 ICU Beds (with potential to expand to 8), and a 20 Bed Emergency Department with 2 Trauma Bays, the hospital provides comprehensive care to the Northwest region. Additionally, it houses a Community Cancer clinic, Hemodialysis Unit, Pediatric Care Space, and offers MRI, CT, and Nuclear Medicine services. The new facility will feature a Tier 3 neonatal intensive care unit and special care nursery, providing antenatal and postnatal services, education, and parenting support to pregnant individuals. As a training site for medical students in the Northern Medical Program and residents through the UBC Family Medicine Residency Program, the hospital is dedicated to education and cultivating the next generation of healthcare professionals.
