Job Description

As a faculty member of Cinematography at the School of Film & Theatre, you will be responsible for teaching students the art and craft of motion picture photography. Your role will involve: - Developing and delivering courses in cinematography for various media. - Creating and updating course materials like syllabi, assignments, and exercises. - Evaluating student work, providing constructive feedback, and assessing student learning outcomes. - Mentoring and advising students on their film projects. - Participating in departmental meetings, contributing to curriculum development, and engaging in academic administrative activities. - Keeping updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in Cinematography. - Collaborating with colleagues from different departments and industry professionals to enhance student learning and industry connections. Qualifications: - Degree from a recognized University. - Master's Degree or PG Diploma in Cinematography from a reputable University or Institution. - Minimum of ten years of post-qualification professional experience and/or teaching experience in Cinematography in a reputable Organization or Institution. Desirable Qualifications: - Administrative or managerial experience. - Proficient knowledge of Indian and International Cinema/TV/OTT. Candidates are expected to present evidence of their professional works.
