Faculty in Game Design, Animation & VFX

As a member of the Faculty of Design & Arts at Poornima University in Rajasthan, your primary role will be to shape the next generation of game developers, designers, and storytellers. You will be responsible for designing and delivering undergraduate/graduate courses in Game Design, Game Art, Game Development, and Interactive Media. Creating a learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and innovation is crucial to your role. Guiding students through hands-on design projects, game prototypes, and real-world simulations will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will also mentor students for industry internships, game jams, and help them develop their career portfolios. Contributing to curriculum development by integrating industry best practices and emerging technologies is expected. Engaging in research, publication, and collaborating with industry partners or academic networks will be encouraged. Organizing workshops, guest lectures, and interactive sessions with professionals from the game industry will also be part of your duties. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Masters Degree or Ph.D. in Game Design, Game Development, Animation, Multimedia Arts, or a related field. Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender, Maya, Adobe Creative Suite, as well as scripting languages like C#, JavaScript, and Python will be essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective teaching. While prior teaching or mentoring experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Your ability to inspire, lead, and connect with students from diverse backgrounds will be crucial in this role.,
