Faculty in Applied Sciences for Engineering College

We are looking for dynamic, passionate, and experienced faculty members to be a part of our Applied Sciences department, specifically in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. As a faculty member, your primary responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate students, creating academic content, engaging in research activities, and contributing towards the overall academic excellence of the institution. Your role will involve delivering lectures and practical sessions for undergraduate programs in Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics. You will be required to develop lesson plans, teaching materials, laboratory manuals, and other academic content that align with the curriculum standards. Additionally, conducting tutorials, workshops, and remedial classes for students will be part of your responsibilities. You will also supervise laboratory activities, projects, and student research work. Participation in curriculum development, syllabus framing, and examination processes is essential. Engaging in scholarly research, publishing papers, and attending academic conferences are encouraged. Providing academic and career counseling to students when needed is also expected. Contribution to departmental and institutional committees, as well as extracurricular activities, is encouraged to foster an enriched academic environment. Qualifications required for this role include an M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics from a recognized university. Preferably, candidates should have cleared NET/SET or hold a Ph.D. as per UGC norms. For the Assistant Professor role, a minimum of 1-3 years of teaching experience is required, whereas for Associate Professor or Professor roles, 5+ years of experience including research and publications is preferred. Ideal candidates should possess strong subject knowledge and conceptual clarity, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage a classroom efficiently. Integrating technology into teaching and learning, having research aptitude with experience in academic publishing, and demonstrating mentoring and counseling abilities are essential.
