Factory Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Factory Supervisor oversees daily production activities in the modular furniture and interior design manufacturing unit. This includes managing workers, coordinating workflow, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining timelines for custom and bulk furniture production (modular kitchens, wardrobes, workstations, panels, etc.). The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with woodworking machinery and production processes in the interior or modular furniture industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily factory operations and ensure production targets are met
• Plan and coordinate tasks for carpenters, machine operators, polishers, and helpers
• Ensure efficient workflow for cutting, edge banding, assembling, lamination, and final finishing
• Maintain production quality as per design specifications and customer requirements
• Monitor use and maintenance of machines such as panel saws, CNC routers, edge banders, etc.
• Coordinate with the design, procurement, and installation teams for smooth execution
• Enforce health and safety standards in the factory
• Track raw material consumption and coordinate with the store team for inventory
• Train and guide workers to improve productivity and minimize rework
• Maintain daily production and attendance reports
• Ensure timely handover of finished goods for dispatch or on-site installation

Qualifications & Skills:

• ITI / Diploma / Degree in Wood Industry, Interior, or Production Engineering (preferred)3–5 years of experience in modular furniture or interior manufacturing
• Strong understanding of modular production processes and factory floor operations
• Familiarity with machinery like CNC, edge banding, beam saw, multi-boring, etc.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and cutting lists
• Excellent leadership and team management skillsWorking knowledge of ERP or production tracking software (preferred)Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
