As the Factory Manager & Lead Testing & Design Engineer at Voltamp Electricals Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing facility in Kolkata, India. **Role Overview:** You will be leading the factory operations, testing, and design functions, combining technical expertise with leadership skills to ensure smooth operations and high-quality transformer manufacturing. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage end-to-end factory operations including production, planning, manpower, maintenance, and dispatch. - Ensure compliance with IS/IEC standards, quality systems, and safety regulations. - Supervise fabrication, winding, tanking, and final assembly operations. - Coordinate with vendors, conduct preventive maintenance, and optimize resource efficiency. - Conduct routine, type, and special transformer tests as per relevant standards. - Diagnose transformer performance issues and provide guidance on necessary actions. - Oversee electrical and mechanical transformer designs, validating key parameters. - Lead technical and shop-floor teams, maintaining production targets and performance metrics. - Report factory performance, challenges, and quality feedback to the management. **Qualification Required:** - B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Mechanical knowledge preferred). - 15-20 years of experience in transformer design, testing, and manufacturing. - Deep understanding of transformer fault analysis and diagnostic testing. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and advanced testing instruments. - Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
