Facade Engineer

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing the complete design, engineering, and execution of facade works for a luxury 5-star hotel in Madikeri. From the conceptualization stage to the final completion and handover of facade systems, your role will be crucial in ensuring world-class aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability. Your key responsibilities will include leading the conceptualization and design of all facade elements, collaborating closely with architects and consultants, evaluating facade systems for performance criteria, preparing detailed facade drawings and material specifications, coordinating with various teams for system integration, identifying and finalizing facade contractors and material suppliers, supervising on-site installation works, implementing quality control measures, preparing project plans and timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of facade works within budget and quality standards. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master's preferred) with a minimum of 8-10 years of proven experience in facade engineering. Strong technical knowledge of curtain walls, glazing, cladding systems, and unitized systems is required, along with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, or other facade design tools. You should also possess strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills. The preferred candidate will have experience leading facade work for luxury hotels or large-scale projects, be solution-oriented, proactive, and able to work under tight timelines. Willingness to be stationed in or travel frequently to Madikeri, Karnataka is essential.
