Facade Engineer

Job Title: Facade Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop, review, and finalize faade design drawings, details, and technical documents.

* Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers for faade-related works.

* Ensure faade systems (glass, cladding, curtain wall, ACP, stone, etc.) meet safety, quality, and aesthetic requirements.

* Conduct feasibility studies, structural checks, and material selection for faade systems.

* Support project execution by providing technical guidance to site teams and resolving faade-related issues.

* Review shop drawings, mock-ups, and material submissions for approval.

* Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (ASTM, BS, EN, etc.) and client specifications.

* Monitor project progress and assist in ensuring timely delivery of faade packages.

* Prepare technical reports, design calculations, and project documentation as required.

Key Requirements:

* Bachelors degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Architectural Engineering (or related field).

* 3–6 years of experience in faade engineering or faade consultancy.

* Strong knowledge of faade systems: glass, cladding, curtain wall, ACP, and related technologies.

* Familiarity with relevant international codes and standards (ASTM, BS, EN, etc.).

* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; knowledge of faade-specific software (e.g., Rhino, Tekla, or FEM tools) is an added advantage.

* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and coordination skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects.
