Facade Designer

As a skilled Faade Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and detailing of high-performance faade systems. Your role will require strong technical expertise, advanced CAD proficiency, and the ability to manage projects from design validation to client coordination. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and validate innovative faade designs in alignment with project scope and specifications. - Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and 3D models (using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, HICAD) for various faade elements such as unitized systems, curtain walls, glazing, ACP cladding, louvers, and skylights. - Collaborate effectively with architects, consultants, and project teams to maintain design intent and address technical queries. - Provide technical guidance to production and procurement teams, including material take-offs and ensuring compliance with codes and standards. - Lead design coordination meetings, facilitate timely approvals, and manage client interactions. - Stay updated with the latest faade technologies, materials, and industry best practices. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in faade design and detailing, with a preference for India/GCC projects. - Strong expertise in AutoCAD is essential, while exposure to SolidWorks, HICAD, and 3D modeling tools is advantageous. - Deep knowledge of faade materials such as aluminum, glass, ACP, and steel, along with installation techniques. - Excellent communication skills, project ownership mindset, and the ability to effectively coordinate with clients. In addition to the requirements mentioned above, you will be expected to have experience in faade design for at least 8 years. The work location for this full-time role will be in Bangalore, Karnataka, and you should be willing to commute or relocate as required.
