Facade Design Engineers

As a Senior Designer at our company, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of external faade packages, including roof lights and fenestration systems. You will be a key member of the Alufix project teams, contributing to architecturally complex and technically demanding faade solutions for various high-profile projects in the UK and Ireland. Your main responsibilities will include collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders throughout all project phases, interpreting architectural and engineering information to create detailed design and fabrication drawings, preparing design documentation aligned with project timelines, supervising junior designers, and participating in project handovers, design meetings, and reviews. To excel in this role, you should possess expertise in faade design, a deep understanding of external envelope systems and materials, proficiency in technical drawing and CAD software such as AutoCAD, strong project coordination and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience in leadership and team management.
