Facade Consultant

As a Design Engineer at Mirai, you will have the opportunity to be actively involved in the design process for various projects. Your main responsibilities will include: - Attending meetings with Clients and Architects to discuss design details - Sketching details to develop ideas and explain concepts - Producing drawings, specifications, and reports - Reviewing contractors submissions and interfacing with Clients and site engineers for technical queries - Reviewing and commenting on sub-contractors shop drawings, structural calculations, BD submission drawings, fabrication drawings, and material submission - Carrying out factory fabrication inspections, PMU test inspections, tempered glass heat soak tests, stone cladding inspections, etc., and preparing associated technical and site inspection reports - Meeting and reporting regularly to the site-based client engineering team - Providing training to other team members - Conducting research on potential facade materials and sharing knowledge - Evaluating opportunities for improved efficiencies and effectiveness in consultation with management - Communicating with clients to establish their needs and maintaining a dialogue throughout the project - Maintaining an exceptional record in client response to timeliness and quality of work - Identifying technically complex projects and problems that require high-level input - Providing concept design, peer review, and checking services on international projects - Taking necessary action to prevent the occurrence of design documentation and/or quality system non-conformity - Ensuring all project documentation is maintained as required by Mirai's QA system - Endorsing and facilitating the quality management system (QMS) and the Business's commitment to quality Skills required: - Preparation of proportionate dimensioned and annotated hand sketches - Working knowledge of 3D modeling tools like Sketchup, Autodesk Fusion, and Inventor - Knowledge of BIM platforms like Autodesk Revit, along with parametric/generative tools like Rhino - Technical writing skills for reports and specifications - Working knowledge of Graphic suites like Adobe InDesign, Affinity Designer/Publisher Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Civil/Production Engineering or Architecture - Any additional qualification relevant to building engineering/design would be considered an advantage Location: - On-site based in Navi Mumbai. Candidates from Mumbai, Thane, and Navi Mumbai willing to commute are preferred.,
