Fabricator - Power Plant

**Job Description:** As a Metal Fabricator, your primary responsibility will be to fabricate and assemble metal structures and piping systems according to engineering drawings and specifications. You will operate fabrication machinery such as shears, brakes, saws, drill presses, and welding machines to carry out cutting, bending, and welding operations using tools like oxy-acetylene torches, MIG, TIG, and arc welders. It will be your duty to inspect and measure finished components to ensure they meet technical drawings and plant standards. Additionally, you may need to perform structural and piping modifications during plant shutdowns, maintenance, or upgrades. **Key Responsibilities:** - Fabricate and assemble metal structures and piping systems based on engineering drawings and specifications - Operate fabrication machinery such as shears, brakes, saws, drill presses, and welding machines - Carry out cutting, bending, and welding operations using tools like oxy-acetylene torches, MIG, TIG, and arc welders - Inspect and measure finished components to ensure conformity with technical drawings and plant standards - Perform structural and piping modifications as required during plant shutdowns, maintenance, or upgrades - Work closely with engineers, fitters, and plant technicians to resolve design and fabrication issues - Ensure all fabrication work is performed safely and in compliance with applicable regulations and power plant safety protocols - Maintain and repair fabrication tools and equipment - Document all work performed including material usage, dimensions, and quality control checks **Qualifications Required:** - Previous experience in metal fabrication and welding - Proficiency in operating fabrication machinery and welding equipment - Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately - Strong attention to detail and quality control - Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols in a manufacturing environment Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position that requires in-person work at the designated location.,
