Fabrication Foreman

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead fabrication activities involving fit-up and welding. Perform and guide MIG welding, ARC welding, SAW welding and other common fabrication processes. Interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols accurately for components such as motor bodies, stator frames, and construction/mining equipment. Handle new development part fit-ups and regular production jobs independently. Oversee fabrication of heavy components up to 10 tons with hands-on experience. Maintain quality standards and ensure work is done as per specifications and tolerances. Train and mentor welders, fitters, and junior team members. Coordinate with the production team to meet delivery and quality targets. Ensure proper usage of tools, equipment, and safety practices on the shop floor. Requirements: Minimum 15 years of experience in heavy fabrication. Valid welding qualification/certification. Strong knowledge in MIG and ARC welding processes. Proficient in reading and interpreting complex fabrication drawings. Experience in handling large fabricated assemblies (up to 10 tons). Proven leadership and team management skills.
