FAAS - Senior Manager

As an Assurance Manager in the FAAS Record to Report (R2R) team at EY, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with FAAS Senior Managers and leadership to deliver end-to-end Record to Report services to clients across Americas and EMEIA. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books - Conduct financial close and consolidation processes - Process journal entries, allocations, and period end adjustments - Reconcile GL accounts, perform consolidations and eliminations, and reconcile intercompany transactions - Perform pre-close activities and manage fixed assets and capital project accounting - Monitor and track capital projects, manage project account codes, and ensure adherence to KPIs and SLAs - Supervise a team of 6-10 members, including engagement PMO activities, and provide detailed review of their work - Prepare variance reports, conduct analytical reviews, and offer necessary commentary - Develop documents such as SOPs and end-user training materials - Utilize US GAAP/IFRS guidance for technical support as needed - Support client service delivery by overseeing daily progress of fieldwork and maintaining client relationships - Assist Senior Managers in business development activities and engage in hiring and training team members - Address client requests promptly, manage expectations, and demonstrate a good understanding of accounting concepts Qualifications Required: - Must hold a CA, ACCA (UK), CPA, or MBA from a reputed institute - Should have 7-12 years of relevant experience in Entity/BU reporting, financial statement close process support, and MIS reporting - Familiarity with SAP S4/Hana public or private cloud, proficiency in MS Excel and Office, and knowledge of data analytics/visualization tools will be an advantage - Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical skills, and proactive approach are essential for this role About EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Assurance: EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Assurance practice supports global EY client-serving teams in various industries, including financial services, manufacturing, and technology.
