Job Description

Role Summary

F5 NGINX Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage
F5 NGINX
in customer environments
Configure
NGINX as a proxy, load balancer, API gateway, and web server
Implement
NGINX Ingress Controller
Support application modernization and migration from legacy load balancers
Troubleshoot production performance, latency, and traffic flow issues in complex distributed systems.

Technical Skills Required

Core Skills (Must Have)

Strong hands-on experience with
NGINX & Containerized Environment
Advanced experience with:

Reverse Proxy configuration
Load balancing methods
SSL/TLS termination, offloading, passthrough, and re-encryption
Experience with
NGINX solution
for configuration, modules, troubleshooting and performance tuning.

Solid understanding of
TCP/IP, HTTP(S), DNS, SSL, OSI model
Experience with
Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)

Container (Preferred)

Experience in
Kubernetes / OpenShift / Docker
Familiarity with cloud-native networking patterns and Ingress architectures.

Soft Skills

Strong troubleshooting & debugging capabilities
Ability to collaborate effectively with teams, customers, and enterprise stakeholders.
Clear and consistent documentation and communication skills.
Ability to analyze application behavior and recommend architectural or performance optimizations.
