As an Automation Test Engineer at Barclays, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital landscape by driving innovation and excellence. You should have a strong background in manual and Java automation testing, with experience in complex areas. Previous exposure to bespoke automation solutions, creation, maintenance, and execution of automated frameworks/tests, as well as proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Perl, ksh, and bash are essential. Desirable skills include familiarity with continuous integration systems like TeamCity, version control systems such as GIT, build automation tools like Maven, and a working knowledge of JIRA. Previous experience in front office trading applications, Equities Algorithm Trading Systems, Market Connectivity Systems, and investment banking would be advantageous.
