EYE SPECIALIST

As an ophthalmologist, your role involves conducting comprehensive eye exams and vision tests to assess visual acuity, eye muscle function, and overall eye health. You will diagnose and treat a wide range of eye diseases and conditions, from common issues like cataracts and glaucoma to more complex diseases. Performing eye surgeries such as cataract surgery, laser surgery, corneal transplants, and other interventions will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, and medications to treat various eye conditions. Your role also includes managing and preventing eye diseases by educating patients about eye health, implementing preventative measures, and managing chronic conditions like diabetes-related eye problems. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including optometrists, nurses, and specialists, is essential to provide comprehensive patient care.
