Expert- Science and Technology (Oral solids formulation development)

As an Associate Scientist at Novartis, you will be responsible for designing, planning, performing, interpreting, and reporting scientific experiments for the development and timely delivery of drug products within a project team. You will also manage technical lab and plant activities. You will work closely with the project team to meet quality, quantity, and timeline goals in all projects while aligning with the overall drug development process. Your key responsibilities will include: - Planning, organizing, performing, and documenting scientific experiments in collaboration with project teams under minimal guidance. - Providing efficient processes for specialized facilities and manufacturing operations. - Documenting raw data, evaluating results, proposing next experiments, and optimizing methods and workflows. - Generating lab procedures, reports, instructions, and SOPs, and transferring procedures to production. - Communicating problems, conducting safety searches, managing chemicals, and collaborating with team members. - Evaluating new equipment, contributing to maintenance, and ensuring adherence to quality and compliance standards. - Supporting resource planning, quality mindset, and training compliance. - Adhering to HSE rules and guidelines, contributing to increasing efficiency, and providing measurable contributions to projects. Minimum Requirements: - B. Pharm /M. Pharm with 3-8 years of relevant experience. - Experience in safe handling of chemicals and equipment, working in interdisciplinary teams, and knowledge of SOPs and GMP regulations. - Proficiency in scientific/technical areas, laboratory tools, software, and communication skills.
