Expert SAP Security Engineer

You will be responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and supporting projects and initiatives on SAP security systems, including SAP GRC and SAP security for both R/3 and S/4 HANA based systems. Your role will involve designing, developing, and implementing SAP security-related processes, procedures, and guidelines to safeguard SAP systems from internal and external threats. You will also be expected to identify areas for improvement in SAP GRC, SAP security, and SAP controls. Your core departmental responsibilities will include Segregation of Duties (SoD) Analysis, GRC Administration, and SAP Application security and user Provisioning Support. You will manage SAP GRC modules such as Access Control and Process Control configuration and functions. Additionally, you will be required to plan and execute programs focusing on SAP GRC, SAP security (R/3 and S/4 HANA), and audit readiness of SAP environments. Collaboration with business units and Internal Audit will be essential to ensure proper separation of duties among roles and responsibilities set per role and environment. You will be in charge of maintaining documentation related to SAP Security, including Roles and Authorization, GRC, and separation of duties. Your role will also involve assisting with IT audit functions related to identity and access management and providing mentorship to junior team members. Documentation updates, including SOPs, work instructions, and knowledge articles, will be part of your responsibilities.
