Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Expert Cloud Engineer with 15+ years of extensive IT experience, including a strong background in cloud architecture, to lead the design, deployment, and management of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving the cloud strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment of cloud initiatives with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and design of enterprise-grade cloud solutions on platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and execute cloud strategies, including cloud adoption frameworks, migration plans, and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Define and enforce cloud architecture standards, governance, security policies, and best practices across the organization.
• Architect and oversee complex cloud infrastructure deployments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate closely with business leaders, IT teams, and stakeholders to align cloud solutions with organizational objectives.
• Mentor and guide technical teams in cloud adoption, architecture principles, and implementation best practices.
• Drive automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation.
• Monitor cloud environments for cost optimization, performance tuning, and security compliance.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and provide strategic recommendations to enhance business capabilities.
• Lead risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Prepare and present architecture documentation, technical roadmaps, and executive reports.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 10 years focused on cloud architecture and engineering.
• Extensive hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud solutions in Azure.
• Strong expertise in cloud networking, security, identity management, storage, compute, and monitoring.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale cloud migration and transformation projects.
• Expert knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and automation scripting.
• Deep understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices including CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant cloud certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Certified Solutions Architect are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS.
• Ability to influence organizational cloud strategy and drive innovation.
• Strong mentoring and team leadership abilities.
• Background in enterprise-scale environments within sectors such as finance, healthcare, or government.
