Experienced Estimator Engineer Multi Unit & Commercial Projects(Civil)

About Us:

Role Description:

For each project, begin by reviewing
plans, blueprints, and the Finish Schedule
to determine if the materials specified (granite, marble, quartz) fall under our scope of work.
Accurately define scope before proceeding with take-offs to avoid errors or exclusions.
Perform detailed take-offs using PlanSwift for countertops, backsplashes, and edge details (laminated, mitre, and standard).
Thoroughly review all project documents associated with each bid or proposal, including but not limited to: Drawings, Specifications, Addenda, Schedules, Owner requirements, and any related documents.
Lead, train, and mentor other estimators to ensure consistent accuracy and efficiency across all bids.
Collaborate closely with project management and leadership teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality proposals.

Qualifications:

Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
Hands-on estimating experience in the countertop industry is required.
Experience in
multi-unit projects is a strong plus
.
Ability to interpret
finish schedules and drawings to determine material scope accurately
.
Proficiency in PlanSwift and AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
Ability to work 5:00 PM 2:30 AM IST (aligning with U.S. Eastern Standard Time).
Extreme attention to detail, deep countertop knowledge, and a high degree of accountability.
