Experienced CNC Turning Machine Operator.

As an experienced candidate with over 10 years of expertise in the field, your responsibilities in this role will include: - Knowledge of component setups, methods, and procedures. - Uploading and downloading CNC Turning, VMC, HMC programs to machine controller. - Selecting and checking cutting tools per program or CNC Turning, VMC, HMC documents. - Setting up jobs for production orders, first lots, tool tryouts, or running previously set-up jobs by reviewing work orders. - Monitoring machines during operation for unusual vibration or sounds, visually checking cutter path, clearance, and chips to ensure smooth operation. - Making fine adjustments to machines to bring parts within tolerances. - Performing machine operating adjustments, regulating and controlling functions like coolant flow, machine rate, and related machine operations. - Checking work during each operation and after completing the job to ensure parts are complete as per drawing and defect-free (e.g., tool marks, mismatch, incorrect cutter finish). - Reading and interpreting detailed instructions and engineering drawings. - Providing input for Process Improvement initiatives.
