Job Description

Role Overview: As the Expansion Lead at Cult, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing Cult's expansion ambition pan India. Your strategic thinking and strong project management skills will be essential in formulating a comprehensive roadmap for launching fitness centers across all Cult brands throughout India. You will collaborate with city teams and central delivery teams to ensure each opening aligns with the company's overarching growth ambitions. Key Responsibilities: - Expansion Strategy: Develop a roadmap for launching fitness centers across all Cult brands throughout India by understanding current markets, exploring new products, and identifying opportunities in newer markets. Collaborate with city teams and central delivery teams for successful expansion. - Expansion Capabilities Building: Identify and address gaps in the expansion process by collaborating with stakeholders across departments. Utilize data to determine optimal timing, location, and nature of expansions. Enhance decision-making through automation tools and advanced analytics. - Project Management: Lead a team managing over 150 expansion projects annually. Guide the entire lifecycle from selecting high-potential micro-markets to overseeing project execution and successful center launches. - Post-Launch Success: Oversee all aspects of new center launches to ensure they meet predefined success metrics within the first quarter of operation. - Capex Control: Manage the allocation of central capital across regions and project types. - Reporting and Internal Governance: Prepare financial performance reports relative to expansion targets, ensure expenditures remain within budgetary constraints, and hold necessary governance forums to keep the organization informed about expansion progress. Qualifications and Skills: - Tier 1 MBA with 5-7 years of working experience in business, expansion, or a related role. - Consulting background with execution process preferred. - Proven experience (5+ years) in business development, expansion strategy, or a related field within the retail or fitness industry. - Exceptional project management and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.,
