Exhibition Designer

As an Exhibition Designer at IDFX Design, you will play a crucial role in our vibrant and innovative team. Working closely with the Creative Director and the rest of the team, you will contribute to project delivery from initial research to final execution. Your role will involve continuous skill development, particularly in environmental design, with guidance on our unique approach to creating spaces. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with the design team to generate creative and impactful design concepts that meet client expectations and reflect their brand identity. Extensive research on industry trends, competitors, and target demographics will inform your design decisions. You will have the opportunity to present your concepts to clients, incorporating their feedback into the final designs. Additionally, you will guide junior designers, ensuring their growth through constructive feedback and support. Overseeing the production process to ensure timely and high-quality delivery will also be part of your role. To be successful in this position, you should hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Exhibition/Spatial Design or a related field and have 3 to 5 years of experience, ideally in a fast-paced agency setting. Proficiency in design software like Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator & Photoshop) is essential. Knowledge of Blender 3D, CAD, or other 3D applications, as well as web or motion graphics, will be advantageous. Your strong creative and conceptual thinking skills, along with a deep understanding of typography, layout principles, color theory, and branding, will be key assets. Attention to detail, dedication to delivering high-quality work, and a portfolio demonstrating your passion for space design are also crucial. Excellent communication skills are vital for effectively presenting design ideas and collaborating with team members. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising attention to detail is essential.
