Job Description

Role Overview

At Magamor Foods, we are seeking a creative digital resource to translate the company's brand ethos into a compelling social media narrative that attracts, engages, and grows our audience.

As an Executive, Social Media activation, you will play a vital role in shaping our company's online presence. You will be able to help brainstorm, design, and implement engaging content across digital platforms, including social media posts, reels, short films, and digital campaigns. A key goal will be to increase follower growth and engagement on Magamor's social media platforms, transforming them into lively spaces for interaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Content Creation

a) Plan and execute content calendars across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms.

b) Design high-quality visuals using Canva (or similar tools) aligned with brand guidelines.

c) Conceptualise and create reels, short videos, and digital stories that capture brand tone and lifestyle appeal.

d) Write clear, engaging captions and copy for social media, website, and marketing campaigns.

e) Assist in building a content library of brand photography, videos, and testimonials.

2. Campaign Support

a) Support in ideating and executing digital campaigns, collaborations, and influencer partnerships.

b) Coordinate with external photographers or editors (when required) to ensure brand consistency.

c) Edit and optimise visual content for social platforms.

3. Community & Engagement

a) Respond to comments, messages, and feedback across brand social handles.

b) Identify opportunities for organic engagement with like-minded communities or food startups.

c) Track competitor activities and emerging trends in the healthy snacking and FMCG space.

4. Analytics

a) Use social media insights and tools to track performance.

b) Recommend improvements to increase reach, engagement, and conversions.

Candidate Profile

a) Bachelors degree or ongoing studies in digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Design, or related fields.

b) Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal).

c) Proficiency in Canva and familiarity with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.

d) Understanding of photography, videography, and visual composition.

e) Ability to manage multiple platforms and digital tools confidently.

f) Passion for food, wellness, and digital storytelling.

g) Self-driven, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
