Role Overview: As a Manager at the company located in Pune, your primary responsibility will be to manage the purchasing process, evaluate vendors, and ensure efficient day-to-day purchasing activities. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills. - Evaluate vendors to ensure their performance aligns with established specifications. - Evaluate order and bid documentation. - Lead the creation of profitable strategies to manage obsolete and slow-moving stock effectively. - Oversee the company's purchasing activities and ensure purchasing agents meet performance standards. - Assist in developing more effective invoicing and collection processes. - Manage the purchasing process, including buying, selling, and distribution aspects. - Review new project proposals and analyze existing purchasing processes for performance. - Implement improvements to existing purchasing processes and delivery systems. - Identify ideal suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability. Qualifications Required: - Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 3-4 years of experience. - Ideally, hold a relevant qualification in Mechanical and/or Production Engineering. - Mechanical problem-solving ability and troubleshooting skills are essential. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
