As a VMC Operator, your main responsibility will be to set up and manage VMC machines for various tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling. You will need to interpret engineering drawings accurately to ensure the dimensions are met during production. It will be crucial to monitor the VMC machines closely, making necessary adjustments to enhance the quality of the output. Daily checks on machinery functionality and maintaining production and quality logs will be part of your routine tasks. Effective communication with clients regarding timelines and any logistical issues that may arise is essential to meet client expectations. Additionally, conducting regular assessments of VMC machines will be required to ensure optimal performance. To excel in this role, you should possess strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Proficiency in VMC programming is also a key skill that will contribute to your success in this position.
