As a Financial Controller at Macquarie, you will join a high-performing team dedicated to financial accounting and reporting. Your role will involve supporting the Legal Entity by ensuring timely and accurate completion of reporting obligations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Coordinating with business teams and external auditors for timely and accurate management of deliverables and financial records - Ensuring compliance with finance control standards - Focusing on process improvements to enhance efficiencies - Maintaining quality consciousness in all aspects of your deliverables To excel in this role, you should possess: - Strong accountability, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills - A postgraduate accounting qualification, CA or CPA, with 2-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience - A deep understanding of IFRS reporting requirements, especially for the banking industry - Experience in banking, financial services, public accounting, or stockbroking is advantageous At Macquarie, you will be part of a global financial services group that values diversity and empowers its employees to shape possibilities.
