Executive Pricing

As a Pricing role at House of Shipping, your primary responsibility is to provide support to Global trade functions in FWAQ Approvals and all Pricing related processes. You will play a crucial role in understanding various types of containers, vessels, and movement of containers to provide accurate information to stakeholders. - Understand types of containers, vessels, and movement of containers: You will be responsible for providing information regarding the location and status of containers. - Follow the port-wise cost matrix rates (MRG) with guidance from Trade: This includes SAP MRG rate card maintenance, request, and process governance. - Support the SRR process: You will support SRR requests from agents and ensure adherence to the process flow. - Work closely with agents to file the FMC contract for US shipments. - Support the Manifest (AMS/ENS) process and requirements. - Create reports on Pricing Requests received, answered, and response rates. - Maintain reports on Detention & Demurrage freetime, Pricing Requests, etc. - Report back to Trade on potential contract possibilities upon price confirmation. - Manage, follow up, and redirect potential sales leads from external sources to the commercial team or country agents. - Support the Documentation team on different container movement documents. Qualifications Required: - Minimum two years of experience within a shipping/NVOCC environment. - Experience working with SAP or any other Transport Management System would be an advantage. - Knowledge of pricing, customer service, budgeting, and reporting processes.
