Executive - Packaging Development

Job Description

Role & responsibilities: Develop primary/ secondary/ tertiary packaging materials for protecting the product in terms of quality. Conceptualization/ Exploration of multiple workable packaging concept based on need. Responsible for driving development in packaging material, also responsible for process improvement in the packaging process line and ensure const effective. Ensure development of prototype/ representative samples. Feasibility of concept including machine suitability, materials, costing etc. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive speed, manage cost and quality. To collaborate with cross-functional departments like Legal, SCM, QA, R&D, Production for execution of packaging projects. To collaborate with external/ internal agency for design and development activity of new packaging material. Develop, update and achieve technical component drawings and specifications, work with QC team across sites on educating and updating of these critical QC release parameters that impact packaging line performances. Development and qualification of a wide range of primary and secondary packaging solutions are met for the needs of brand aesthetics. Artwork support to marketing, online proofing, line trials. To create packaging specifications for Tea category, coordinate with EDP team to create packaging codes. Planning and strategizing deigning packaging and to ensure timely execution of the projects. Any other assignment given by the organization from time to time. Preferred candidate profile : Should have experience in developing and sourcing of Primary, Secondary & Tertiary packaging designs. Educational Qualification : Degree in Packaging Technology (preferred).
