Executive - Finance (FOREX)

Role & responsibilities

• Handle foreign exchange transactions and currency conversions
• Monitor exchange rates and optimize transaction timing
• Coordinate with authorized dealers (banks) for forex requirements
• Track remittances and ensure timely settlement of overseas dues
• Maintain records and ensure timely reporting in IDPMS (Import Data Processing & Monitoring System)
• Ensure accurate updates in EDPMS (Export Data Processing & Monitoring System)
• Follow RBI guidelines and support audit/documentation processes
• Facilitate issuance, amendment, and closure of Letters of Credit
• Process Bank Guarantees for vendors or clients as per contract terms
• Coordinate with banks for due diligence, margin funding, and renewals
• Support reconciliation of foreign transactions
• Prepare reports on forex utilization, trade transactions, and obligations
• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies like RBI, DGFT, and FEMA

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field
• Minimum 23 years of experience in finance operations with exposure to forex and international trade
• Working knowledge of IDPMS, EDPMS, SWIFT payments, and LC mechanisms
• Strong analytical and documentation abilities
