Job Description

Role & responsibilities

The Process Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and monitoring of process-related projects. The role ensures coordination between engineering, production, quality, procurement, and project teams to achieve project objectives within defined timelines, cost, and quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile

Project Coordination

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and execution of process and engineering projects
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project workflow
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and dashboards

Process Management

  • Support development, implementation, and optimization of process workflows
  • Monitor process performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Ensure process compliance with project specifications and standards
  • Assist in risk assessment and mitigation related to process activities

Communication & Reporting

  • Act as a communication bridge between project managers, engineers, vendors, and clients
  • Prepare progress reports, MOMs (Minutes of Meeting), and status updates
  • Follow up on action items and ensure timely closure

Vendor & Resource Coordination

  • Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and contractors for process-related activities
  • Track material, equipment, and manpower requirements
  • Support procurement and logistics coordination as per project needs

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Support audits, inspections, and documentation reviews
  • Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

Qualifications & Skills

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Process Engineering
    (Diploma with relevant experience may also be considered)

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in process/project coordination or industrial projects
  • Experience in manufacturing, EPC, or process industries preferred

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of process engineering and project management principles
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, ERP systems, and documentation tools
  • Basic understanding of PFDs, P&IDs, SOPs, and process documentation

Soft Skills

  • Strong coordination and communication skills
  • Good planning, multitasking, and time-management abilities
  • Problem-solving and analytical mindset
  • Ability to work under deadlines and in cross-functional teams

  • On-time project milestone completion
  • Process efficiency and improvement implementation
  • Documentation accuracy and compliance
