Executive - Anti-Money Laundering (Compliance and Remediation)

Role Overview: KPMG in India is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join their team as an AML Analyst. As an AML Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing level 2 AML alerts, ensuring the implementation of AML policies, collaborating with stakeholders on AML-related issues, and continuously improving the AML process. Your role will also involve reviewing pre and post transaction alerts, coordinating IT initiatives, ensuring timely submissions of monthly reports, and driving operational excellence activities. Key Responsibilities: - Review level 2 AML alerts and escalate positive alerts to country FCC for review - Implement AML policies in accordance with procedures - Collaborate with stakeholders on AML-related issues - Provide input on improving the overall AML process, including system enhancements - Review pre and post transaction alerts from an AML perspective - Ensure efficient operation of systems, procedures, and controls for Trade - Submit monthly MIS reports on Trade AML alerts to management - Timely review and escalation of alerts - Coordinate rollout across all markets as per the group plan - Coordinate IT initiatives/issues related to system operations - Conduct BCP/DR testing and crisis management - Obtain local/international certifications in AML - Drive operational excellence initiatives - Ensure acceptable audit ratings and resolve audit/AML risk issues promptly - Provide AML inputs to the training team - Conduct regular connects with the Operations team in Trade - Maintain low attrition rates in the AML team - Conduct skip-level meetings to ensure high employee morale - Keep the team updated on AML policies and procedures Qualifications: - Qualified Graduate with a minimum of 1-2 years of post-qualification experience.,
