Executive - Accounts

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounts Executive with a strong focus on Accounts Payable. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily operations of the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and reconciliations

Key Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization.

• Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes.

• Prepare and schedule vendor payments.

• Maintain and update vendor master records.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and company policies.

• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

• Maintain proper documentation and filing of all payable-related documents.

• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice/payment-related queries.

• Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and reports as required.

Required Skills Knowledge abilities:

• Bachelors degree in commerce, Accounting, or related field.

• 2-6 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in accounts payable.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally/ERP/SAP or similar).

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
