Should hold strong reading and comprehension skills – should be able to read long and detailed documents and be capable of comprehending & summarizing important information.b. Hold good sentence construction and cohesion skills to create response proposals to the bidding opportunities.c. Should be able to coordinate with fellow experts within the company to create responses, edit templates and review the final responses.d. Should be capable of managing the various proposal document templates.5) Competency with MS Excel and MS Word is strongly desirable.6) Comprehension of Pricing Models is desirable.7) Excellent time management skills are required.8) Should have great attention to detail and meticulous proofreading skills. This role focuses on sourcing, reading, and breaking down government RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs to determine alignment with EvGateway's services and passing qualified opportunities to the proposal development team. Key Responsibilities: Opportunity Identification: Monitor public procurement portals (federal, state, municipal) for new EV charging-related bids and opportunities. Set up alerts and filters to track relevant RFPs across various platforms (e.g., SAM.gov, PlanetBids, BidNet, state portals). Bid Analysis & Summary: Review each RFP or bid document and extract key information such as scope of work, eligibility criteria, submission requirements, deadlines, and evaluation criteria. Summarize findings into digestible internal briefs or checklists for the proposal team. Flag any potential red flags or non-alignment with EvGateway's products/services. Internal Coordination: Communicate regularly with the sales, technical, and compliance teams to ensure RFPs are qualified before time is invested in response. Maintain a shared tracker or CRM of all bids under consideration with statuses and deadlines. Market & Policy Awareness: Stay informed on funding trends, federal/state EV infrastructure programs, and regulatory requirements that impact RFPs (e.g., NEVI, Buy America, ADA). Qualifications: 1–3 years of experience in government procurement analysis, grant/RFP tracking, or public sector sales support. Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex bid documents. Familiarity with public procurement processes and EV infrastructure funding is a plus. Excellent written communication and summarization skills. Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and bid tracking tools or portals.
