Your main responsibilities will include: - Conducting site surveys and feasibility studies to assess the suitability of solar power for potential clients. - Designing and engineering photovoltaic (PV) solar systems using industry-standard software. - Developing technical specifications, drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM) for solar projects. - Overseeing the procurement of solar panels, inverters, and other necessary equipment. - Collaborating with construction crews to ensure proper installation of solar systems according to design plans. - Performing quality checks and inspections throughout the installation process. - Assisting with system commissioning and testing to ensure optimal performance. - Providing technical support to clients after system installation. - Staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in solar technology and industry best practices. - Participating in project meetings and discussions to provide technical expertise. Qualifications required for this role: - Minimum 3 years of experience as a Solar Engineer or a related field. - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred). - Strong understanding of solar PV systems, components, and design principles. - Proficiency in solar design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD). - Excellent knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations. - Experience with solar project management. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. - Valid Driver's License (preferred).
