Business Development Officer ahmedabad 3 - 5 years INR 5.0 - 10.0 Lacs P.A. Hybrid Full Time

Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Identify and onboard distributors, stockists, retailers, hospitals, and clinics across Gujarat and pan-India. Develop and maintain strong business relationships with domestic channel partners . Generate new leads through field visits, B2B platforms, and networking . Present product portfolios and negotiate sales contracts with prospective clients. Coordinate with production and QA/RA teams to ensure timely supply and adherence to WHO-GMP standards. Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and market demand. Maintain sales records, client database, and submit regular reports to management. Support promotional campaigns, product launches, and participation in domestic pharma exhibitions. Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets in assigned regions. Preferred candidate profile Knowledge of Indian pharmaceutical distribution system . Good communication, sales negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and handle responsibilities in a start-up culture . Proficiency in MS Office and digital platforms (IndiaMart, JustDial, TradeIndia, etc.). Willingness to travel extensively within Gujarat and across India. Bachelors degree in Pharmacy/Science (MBA in Marketing preferred). 1–4 years of experience in domestic pharma business development/sales . Experience with syrups, powders, and nutraceuticals will be preferred. Freshers with strong communication skills and willingness to learn may also apply.
