An ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) Operator runs and maintains facilities that clean wastewater to meet environmental standards, involving monitoring processes (pH, BOD, COD), operating pumps/filters/dosing systems, performing water quality tests, managing chemicals safely, troubleshooting issues, and keeping detailed logs for compliance. They ensure treated water meets discharge regulations, handle sludge, and conduct basic maintenance, requiring knowledge of safety/environmental rules and often working in shifts.
