ETL Testing- Specialist

As an ETL Testing Specialist with 5-7 years of total Quality Engineering experience, you will be responsible for performing ETL/Data Testing. Your key responsibilities will include writing complex SQL queries, having knowledge of scripting languages like Python (a plus), and working in an Agile environment. You should possess excellent reasoning and analytical skills along with proficiency in Test Case and Defect Management Tools such as JIRA, Quality Center, or equivalent. In this role, you will be required to communicate effectively, collaborate as a team player, and be open to working in shifts from 12 PM to 8:30 PM. You will work under supervision to develop, support, deploy, and test basic technology solutions while ensuring the translation of software requirements into high-quality production-ready code. Timely delivery of quality deliverables within estimated timelines is a key aspect of this role. You will also participate in team ceremonies, demonstrate basic engineering skills, system administration, quality engineering practices, and support activities. Additionally, you should be able to design low-complexity automation scripts with minimal errors, using existing automation tools and frameworks for reusability and low maintenance requirements. Understanding QE practices and utilizing automation tools like TOSCA will be beneficial in this role. Basic knowledge of multiple software development methodologies, such as AWS cloud testing, is also desired.
