Description
As an ETL Tester at Talworx, you will be responsible for expert ETL testing with a good hands-on experience in Python scripting. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Strong SQL skills with Python experience - Database testing - Experience in ETL - Background in financial/banking domain - Collaborating with development, DBAs, and business teams to seed and set up test environments - Using testing tools to plan, execute, and track quality assurance artifacts - Meeting with PMO, development, and business teams to remediate defects - Attending product definition and design meetings, functional and technical walkthroughs to provide input on testing tools and approaches - Developing testing plan scenarios for various types of testing - Identifying and establishing goals for testing cycles, defining and managing software test environments, test standards, and quality assurance tasks - Analyzing system requirements and design documents - Estimating hours and resources needed for projects under test - Developing detailed test cases, scenarios, and scripts to ensure application quality - Writing test plans in collaboration with other QA and business teams - Designing and developing usability testing scenarios and administering portions of the testing process, including involving testers from other teams - Providing triage support to Development, Business, and test teams on internal and external issues - Informing management about resource requirements needed to complete software testing In addition, you should be experienced in leveraging CI/CD pipelines for automation.
