The ideal candidate for this position would have experience with ODI or OBIEE 11g. You should also have experience in using BI reporting tools like Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) 12C. Additionally, you should have experience in developing complex reports using various types of views such as Pivot tables, charts, Narrative view, Tree maps, Word Cloud, Scatter, etc., based on the requirements. It is important that you have experience working with the physical, BMM, and Presentation layers of the Repository. You should have experience in configuring Aggregate tables, creating dimension hierarchies, Time series Measures, implementing business logic, and level-based measures. Experience in implementing OBIEE security at Data and Object levels is required. Tuning reports, repository optimization, and database performance options should also be within your skill set. You should possess a good understanding of ODI architecture and data modeling. A university degree or equivalent experience is necessary, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position. Experience in dimensional modeling is also required. Mastery of OBIEE 11g/12c and ODI 11g within an Oracle BI Applications 11g context is a must. Experience in ETL design and implementation would be an added advantage. Assets for this role include knowledge of PeopleSoft and HR Domain. Knowledge of structured implementation methodologies such as Oracle's OUM is beneficial. You have very good knowledge of Snowflake data warehouse, data infrastructure, data platforms, ETL implementation, data modelling, and design. You should be able to gather, view, and analyze data effectively. Apply statistical and data analysis techniques to identify patterns, trends, correlations, and anomalies in large datasets. Utilize advanced analytical tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) to conduct exploratory data analysis. Develop and implement data models to support predictive and prescriptive analytics. You should have strong hands-on experience in writing SQLs, both basic and complex. Good knowledge of Snowflake cloud data platform is essential for this role. Your responsibilities will include connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence purposes. Create clear and informative visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards) to present insights to non-technical stakeholders. You should have strong exposure to visualization, transformation, data analysis, and formatting skills. Develop interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g. Snowsight, Tableau, Power BI) to facilitate data-driven decision-making. It would be good to have knowledge of the Finance and Accounting domain. Familiarity with cloud ecosystems is also a plus. You should be able to back track and do deep analysis of issues to provide Root Cause Analysis. Having good testing and documentation skills is important for this role.
