Etl Developer

Key Responsibilities

ETL Design & Development

• Design, develop, and implement ETL pipelines using tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, or similar
• Build robust and scalable data extraction, transformation, and loading workflows from various sources to target systems
• Optimize data processing workflows for performance and scalability

Data Integration & Warehousing

• Work with relational and non-relational data sources to build integrated data warehouses or data marts
• Implement data models to support reporting and analytics use cases
• Ensure consistency and accuracy in data across systems

Collaboration & Requirements Gathering

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for ETL implementation

Monitoring & Maintenance

• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure smooth operation
• Conduct root cause analysis of data quality issues and recommend fixes
• Maintain documentation for ETL design, processes, and data mappings

Data Quality & Governance

• Implement validation, cleansing, and transformation rules to ensure data quality
• Work closely with data governance teams to align with compliance and security standards

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 4 to 9 years of hands-on experience in ETL development and data integration
• Proven experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, etc.)
• Strong SQL and database development skills (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Experience with cloud-based ETL/data integration tools (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, GCP Dataflow) is a plus
• Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and tools (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.)
