Position Overview
Job Title: ETL Developer Product Content & eCommerce
Location: India (remote / hybrid) — primary collaboration with U.S. teams and vendors
Reports to: Director of Content Operations (U.S.)
Role Summary
You will own the transformation of manufacturer-supplied product content into our internal PIM-ready formats using EasyMorph (or similar no-code/low-code ETL tools). You will work directly with manufacturers to ingest, validate, and automate repeatable ETL pipelines that deliver high-quality product records (images, descriptions, PDFs, attributes, etc.). Sources may include spreadsheets, file feeds, or manufacturer product data APIs; you will ensure all sources are transformed to our PIM input requirements. This role requires strong independent execution, fluency in English, and the ability to produce executive- and contributor-level data dashboards and quality monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Ingest and normalize product data from multiple manufacturer sources (spreadsheets, file feeds, and product data APIs) using EasyMorph (or similar no-code/low-code ETL tools) to meet internal PIM schema and business rules.
- Design, build, test, document, and maintain repeatable ETL workflows that run reliably and can be scheduled/automated.
- Integrate with manufacturer APIs: retrieve, authenticate, paginate, and transform API-delivered product data into our internal formats; handle rate limits, retires, and incremental syncs.
- Communicate directly with external manufacturers (email, calls, shared documents) to clarify file formats/API specs, fix data issues at source, and drive producers toward consistent feeds.
- Implement and maintain data validation and quality checks (completeness, format validation, attribute consistency, image/asset links, duplicate detection).
- Build, maintain, and operationalize automated alerts and exception handling for ETL failures and quality regressions.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports (Looker Studio, MySQL-backed visuals) that show data quality trends, ETL job health, content completeness, and KPIs for both executives and individual contributors.
- Collaborate with PIM, Content Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to align transformations to business needs and upstream/downstream integrations.
- Document mappings, transformation logic, sample files, and runbooks for ongoing operational support.
- Participate in prioritization and planning exercises; estimate effort for onboarding new vendor feeds and mapping changes.
- Train and support internal users on understanding dashboard metrics and data quality findings.
Required Qualifications

- Proficient with EasyMorph (or similar no-code/low-code ETL tools) (or similar no-code/low-code ETL tools) and ability to design complex transformation workflows.
- Solid experience working with both file-based sources (CSV, Excel, XML) and product data APIs.
- Solid experience with product information management (PIM) concepts, product attributes, taxonomies, and digital asset handling.
- Solid experience with data model mapping and creating reusable maps for future data delivery.
